Chocolate Cottage Cheese Ice Cream

You only need 5 simple ingredients to make this viral cottage cheese ice cream! It’s super creamy, thick and packed with over 20 grams of protein!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or 2 tablespoons powdered peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen banana, cottage cheese, peanut butter, cocoa powder and honey. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
    Divide the mixture evenly into two freezer-safe containers. Cover and freeze for at least 1 hour,or until the ice cream reaches your desired consistency.
    Before serving,remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
    Scoop into bowls and enjoy immediately.
