Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Smoothie

This thick creamy chocolate chip cookie smoothie is made with clean ingredients but tastes like dessert! Healthy fats, carbs from fruit and added protein makes it nourishing and totally delicious. Have it for breakfast, lunch, dessert or a snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, sliced, frozen
  • 1-1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek-style yogurt, plain
  • 2 tablespoons cashew butter
  • 2 scoops protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 2-3 dates
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings Optional

  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • Fresh fruit or berries
  • Chopped nuts
  • Hemp seeds

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
    Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
    Pour into 2 glasses and top with your chosen toppings.
    Note: The amount of almond milk you use determines how thick or thin you would like your smoothie. I like to start with ½ cup of milk and add more until it meets my desired consistency.
    It is important to use cashew butter and honey rather than using substitute ingredients. These ingredients give the smoothie it’s cookie dough flavor.
