  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice (if needed for blending)
  • 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles - can use toppings of choice such as granola, mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut
  • 4 wood popsicle sticks

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Dark chocolate chips

Optional Toppings

  • Melted dark chocolate

  • Coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick or skewer into each banana piece, making sure it’s secure.
Add the yogurt, protein powder, maple syrup, and vanilla to a blender. If the mixture seems too thick add a little milk a tablespoon at a time.
Dip banana into the yogurt, using a spoon to help coat it evenly.
Roll the yogurt-coated banana in the sprinkles or your choice of toppings. This is the fun part where you can get creative! Try granola for crunch, mini chocolate chips for a treat,or shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Put the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until the yogurt is fully frozen.
Once the banana pops are frozen, they are ready to enjoy! Store any extras in a freezer-safe container for a quick and healthy snack anytime for up to 1 month.
