Ingredients

  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup thick Greek-style yogurt - plain or vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon almond or cashew butter
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon roasted peanuts, crushed

Instructions

  • Slice banana; place half the slices in a small bowl or jar and mash with the back of a fork.
    Top with 1 tablespoon almond butter.
    Mix together in a small bowl or dish the yogurt, honey, protein powder and vanilla extract.
    Add this layer on top of the almond butter layer.
    Top with the remaining banana slices and 1 tablespoon peanuts.
    For a firmer texture, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
    Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freezer for up to 1 month and thaw slightly before serving.
