Ingredients
1 1/2cupsoat flour (oats blended to a flour)
1/2cupalmond flour
1/3cupalmond (or any other nut or seed) butter
1/2cupalmond (or any) milk (add more if dough is too dry)
1/4cupprotein or collagen peptides powder
1/4cuphoney or maple syrup
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Sprinkles for topping
Instructions
Line an 7 x 5-inch loaf pan or dish with parchment paper on the bottom and sides leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the bars out easier for cutting.Add all ingredients but the sprinkles to a food processor and blend until a thick dough forms. If dough seems too dry add more milk, a tablespoon at a time until it comes together. You want it to stick together when pinched between your fingers.Taste test and add more honey or vanilla if you think it needs it.If you want sprinkles dispersed in the batter then fold (some or all of) them in.Add the dough to the lined pan and spread out with the back of a spoon.Top with sprinkles by pressing them into the dough at the top.Place in the fridge for a 1-2 hours, cut into 7-8 bars or more smaller squares.Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months. If frozen let thaw 10 minutes before eating.
